I've spent the morning searching for the instructions on how to embed a Bloomberg video. I know BM posted the procedure somewhere but I just can't seem to locate the post, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks @Janos That was exactly what I was searching for.
However, my computer skills, and reading comprehension are that of an adolescent Neanderthal.
I chose this video as a test subject, and my results of three combinations of editing yield three similar but not "correctly embedded" (in my opinion) videos.
Your above tries didn't work as I am sure you noticed.
When the video is playing, click share
Then click "copy embed code"
That will give you something like this:
You then need to seek to the "embedCode=" portion, and copy the string up to the & (ampersand) sign. For this video that is RuZGhvZjqxQe_sN0X_7dICxM_lUSnSd9
I just wanted to say Thanks one more time to Big Mike for the detailed post guiding me through the process of embedding a Bloomberg Video. The time he spent providing the visual details of the procedure were most helpful (to me). I also want to say thanks for moving this thread to Tech Support, for those who may query later. I'm sure they will find the post as informative as I.
But not that difficult either, once the correct combination of procedures are identified.
Like this, maybe it's the bone structure of my cranium, but in all my attempts I never once thought of clicking "share" while the video was playing, silly me.
