Hi All

Has anyone ever created an excel trading journal that takes your trades automatically from the API,sort/classifies them properly and computes the usual performance stats.

alternatively just a spreadsheet that automatically recognizes, sorts, and classifies the trades when cut and past from the IB "Trades" window???

This would really save a lot of time, my excel skills are simply not good enough for this.

Thanks

@aczk

Does The Trade Log do what you want?

EDIT: Maybe there is a compatible template out there that would give you the stats you want.

@aczk

You could look at Tradervue or TradeBench, import your trades there and, if the reports are not sufficient, download the trades as Excel file including post-trade metrics like P&L etc done for you.
