Hello, while it is not something I normally do, sometimes I scale in to get a better price and then exit the first entry, I have recently started using Sierra Chart for execution and when I tried this it didn't seem to work at all and as I was totally confused as to what I was looking at I had to exit for a loss.

I have searched the Sierra website and only found ways to scale the range, but nothing related to entering, does anyone know how to do this in sierra? It must be possible.

Thanks,

Chris

You will get different results depending on whether you have support scale-in and/or support scale-out checked on the trade menu. Before you try anything I would recommend you practice it in sim first. I've learned that the hard way as well.
