Why does MC offer Portfolio backtesting if it hasn't even offered portfolio trading for years? Also no proper multi-currency support in regards to portfolio backtesting for years. Isn't that stuff that should be thought of right from the start …
I came to that thread because someone that I know from Skype pointed me to it and we were discussing things. Otherwise I would not have come to that thread. Both of us are traders and software users. He is a long term user of TS. I'm a long term user of AB and a fan because I think it is one of the best things on earth software related. Is that a sin? So of course I would write more posts in the according section of the software I use than in other sections. Other people do the same in other sections too. And it's my free choice as a user posting opinions. Or is this board a dictating forum that tells users what to say and what not to say (I'm not talking about personal insults)?
Now where did I attack anyone in my about 50 posts? On the other hand you accused (well, you rather attacked) me being a software vendor. I'm still feeling offended and in addition it is not fair behaviour towards that vendor who can't defend becasue of unawareness. I have already answered a previous question of yours where I have clearly confirmed that I'm not. Now again you are trying to accuse me. "Confirm it..." is not a question. It's more like a threat. So since you repeated it although it has already been answered there is no other way than proving it in real life. See first sentence. If you don't wanna meet in real life or don't wanna keep quiet in regards to that but instead wanna continue accusing me then sorry to say but then there is no other way than taking legal actions against you and proving it that way. This would be my very last choice.
And AFAIK AB don't go to other forums anymore. How I do know? For instance TJ has told on the AB forum (after he was invited to answer a few technical questions on a different forum) that he simply has no time left for it because firstly he is continuously improving the software every day. So developing takes most of the time. No surprise there. And AB's own forum at Yahoo takes additional time to answer to questions and additional time to moderate. Then he is doing technical support if needed. And there is Marcin G. doing general support and probably other internal stuff every day, I guess. So I understand that there is no time left wasting time on other forums like this one. So since I know that and since I know for a fact that I don't work for any vendor I find it especially rude making accusations to people who can not defend themselves because they are not aware of being accused. Why don't you send an email to them directly and asking there? That's an easy one.
Now besides that I have seen in this thread https://nexusfi.com/cts-t4/28227-bracket-orders-cts-2.html where other users of this board do criticise software. And what're you doing at the current end of that thread? You suggest using another software. Now Big Mike, please confirm that you work for Sierra Chart. No, you don't have to because I don't care, honestly. But to be honest I find those double standards a little bit strange. Is it because MC is sponsor of this board? I'm asking because at Elitetrader they are sponsors and I have seen screenshots of PMs posted on a blog where it has been confirmed that MC ask elitetrader for deleting posts they don't like and ask for deleting reviews they don't like. No offensive stuff at all. Also have seen deletion of other vendors review sections. On that blog there was also a screenshot of a main developer of MC sending a threat to a user and attacking him with words similar to "We are watching you". Anyway ...
And since you were pointing to elitetrader I have browsed a little bit there and found a thread and people accusing you being a scammer. It's not my words because I don't know! So see here for instance there is a user called rolextrader Forums - A list of all scam unregulated 3rd party educational vendors and others. What's up with that? Anything true? Now how do you feel if it is not true?
I hope going to this off-topic section is not breaking a rule that I'm not aware of.
