This annoying problem is lingering on and off for a long time and I decide to ask
Broker MBT I use Quote Tracker for data verification with the same broker MBT because NT7 data is not always reliable and Quote Tracker never misses a tick
The problem has to do with range bar charts not backfilling when I first launch NT7, the minute charts are not affected and sometimes I get blank chart with an error message. If I switch the chart to a minute chart the data is there for all 10 days and if I switch back to range bars the chart is blank and or the data is there for the duration of the platform been opened. I include all the images I have.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
We have seen this issue from time to time but have not been able to reproduce this as of yet. What we believe it to be is that when connected to MBT for historical data, large requests coupled with client internet bandwidth limitations contributes to the problem. With one client, we were able to resolve by disabling an application (uTorrent) on his computer that was hogging internet resources. If you have any applications running that consume bandwidth, try eliminating these when you run into this issue again and see if that might make a difference.
