I currently use a weis wave indicator on a 512 tick chart for day trading. I have posted a screenshot of what this looks like but I don't feel comfortable posting the code as it came from thinkscripter. It is basically just a zig zag indicator that sums the volume per wave. It works great but I would like to add time per swing to the indicator. This would be easy to do with a time based chart because you could simply have a counter counting the bars but with a tick based chart I am at a loss. In the chart above I've hand written in the time per wave.

Can anyone help me with coding this or at least with a sound approach to get me started? I have played around with thinkscript a little but am no means competent.

You can see my commentary on this chart here: It should explain why time is an important indicator.

Thanks in advance.

Hi YertleTurtle,

I wanted to see if you were able to apply Time to the Weis Wave ( zig-zag ) for TorS platform ?

I also am using TorS as my main platform, and am currently using the zig-zag indicator that is the default indicator on the TorS platform, but would like to apply the Weis Wave ( including the Time ) above and below each swing point, s, as you mentioned, is a critical part in using and interpreting the changes/reversals within the trend

I looked at the Weis Wave indicator that is on the thinkscripter website...... have you used this Indicator ?
And what are your thoughts ?

Thanks for your time and help - Michael
