An expert question: How to manipulate string from a global variable. It seem that The global variable was written in C++ and use an ASCI LSTR string format. Excel use UNICODE string with BSTR.

I could Read a global variable strin in Excel, but I can't modify it. Doing so return a wrong value as a part of the old string value is added to the new string value.

It look to be a question for a VBA or VB expert, witch I'm not.
