I want to create my own data series. I have now the problem I don't know how to reload it without always restarting NT. NT support cannot help me.
I hope there is a simple solution otherwise it is really very tiresome to finish and start NT for every small change.
Thank you
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I want to create my own version of Renko Data Series. The point is each time I change something in the C# code I have to restart NT because the compiled code is not activated by NT.
Regardless what I tried:
Closing all charts and open a new chart with my data series [Ctrl+F key]
Removing the data series from the chart and adding it again.
Pressing F5 in the chart.
Only when I restart NT then the new compiled version is executed. These steps are really getting tiresome because I have to process them each time I compiled the changed C# code.
The confusion is about "DataSeries". You probably wish to create your own bar type. This has little to do with a DataSeries, as a bar type is a visualization of open, high, low, and close.
I believe that the bar types are loaded when NT is started, so I cannot help you with this problem.
Yes, you are right. I meant Bar Type. I wrote Data Series because it is called like this in the NT menu.
OK. Thank you for the information. I have to do the very tiresome job and restart NT each time I compile the script.
