Building Winning Trading Systems - Good for Multicharts newbie?
I had just downloaded the trail version of Multicharts (Easylanguage version), Easylanguage seems not so difficult to learn and much suitable for trader.
Now I want to find some books to learn the coding, I found a book in Amazon.com which released in last year: Building Winning Trading Systems
This book talking about using Easylanguage in Tradestation to develop the trading strategy, I saw the book review from Amazon.com is not very good at all, only 3.5 stars in average. Did anyone here read this book before? is it good for Multicharts too? Is it fit for newbie?
Thanks!

I read most of the book although I was more advanced than it. i think that's the case, if your starting fresh its good. It also works for multicharts. I think easylanguage and multicharts is a good place to start, it is fairly powerful and easy to use. I didn't use many books to learn i just kept making new systems and practiced by doing. there are a lot of good built in systems you can play with and just start combining them together or using them as examples. its fairly straight forward.
