Different values for MACD on chart than on MarketWatch?
I am new with the ToS platform. For some reason the value for the MACD (I have yet to test this with other indicators) is different when looking at the chart than the one provided by MarketWatch.
I already double checked if I am in the same aggregation time and lengths values. It all looks the same.
Any tip on what I might be doing wrong?
Thanks!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Looks like I can't post images/links yet I need to post more in the forum to be able to do that.
Basically to reproduce the error for example the last minute of Friday 21 for the USD/JPY# 1m MACD was giving me a -0.016 on the MarketWatch and a 0.0382 on the chart, the same happens with any other aggregation time and any other instrument.
I will come back to this post later when I am allowed to post the images.
So after watching the MarketWatch data for a while I realize the indicators were not moving at all. I am assuming now that when using ToS in PM mode the data for the indicators is not real time even though all the rest is (I asked to get real time for my tests on PM and its working for mostly everything but strangely not for indicators)
I am not a 100% sure this is the issue but it looks it might be which would be a pity for making tests
