For those that trade currencies. Cyrox has released a free tick chart feed which is a very smooth 1/10 pip based DMA chart that would be worth watching no matter what time frame you trade just to keep an eye on the micro movements of the markets. DMA info - Forex And The Evolution of Direct Market Access They also offer paid versions with trade signals but the free version is really nice. You will have to wait until the markets are open to see the charts but all you need is a web browser. They recommend firefox - I use chrome - they recommend against IE saying there is a memory leak problem with IE which will cause your computer memory useage to spike over time.... The horizontal lines are spaced every 6 pips on the chart but move with price as a dynamic 6 pip stop loss. So you can watch the chart and take breaks of the horizontal lines which end up being breakout plays.

If you have ever tried to trade tick charts on ninja you will realize that they tend to be very jumpy since most feeds are 1/2 pip at best.

the best I can get with MB Trading is 4 pips...

My wife bagged 60+ demo pips using just this chart and the Currenex demo today on the GBP/JYP. It really works well. She used 2 charts - one started at market open and another she refreshed every 15 minutes to keep the chart spacing from getting too scrunched (nice word) up...

Thanks for that. I went to the website and as expected the charts need to be up when the market is moving. I'll check Sunday night / Monday morning.

How did you determine that their scalping method? Did you purchase the webinar?

Register for their forum and they give some methods there for trading this chart as well as a lot of journals, screenshots etc. I have not purchased the webinar but I have bought previous indies from them and made similar stuff myself (google trollman on forex factory for the origins of the Cyrox stuff) and I am currently trying out the power chart with signals. I am not sure what I think of the signals yet just watching...I would imagine the triggers are based on Guppy methods or wavelets like his other stuff (good stuff - the Cyrox stuff has always been solid)

edit: Just read some stuff by Cyrinus on his forum where he stated that the signals were not based on Guppy.

So he would be the one to know.... Anyway with further testing I have found the signals to be excellent. If you trade forex you might want to take a look.

.... the tick chart is really good though because it is so smooth. The 1/10 pip flow makes it really nice. You can see moves build before they take off - sometimes

This is what I like to look at - a real detail chart but you can be zoomed out. - You can't really zoom this you can just let more time go by to have a busier chart....if that makes sense. Ninja could never get this right.

Ctl + or - to make the chart bigger or smaller (just size not zoom)

This is for hard core scalping, though. Watch the chart for a high probabilty entry then watch your P&L once you are in. P&L is the original no lag indicator...

Read that last sentence again. If you get 2 pips then don't be afraid to take them. Don't let a winner turn into a loser because you are waiting for a "bigger" move. Usually you won't take much of a retracement just get out with profit and come back for more. They recommend (I agree) to stick with one pair and double a demo account at least once before going live...

IB offers interbank FX access up to 6 digits after the comma....( 2 digits after the pip unit) .... it is about 2.5 $ per trade up to 2 M dollars .......
