I'm trying to start with a simple strategy that would buy on pullbacks from a cross above a ma envelope. When I program high to cross above upper band and then pullback and cross below middle band is referencing the same bar. How would I make it look back to when it cross above the upper band and then buy when it crosses under the middle band.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Maybe you could start by providing a screenshot with a chart that has your indicators on it and arrows pointing out the crosses and at what point you would want to enter the trade. It's not really clear what you're trying to do just from your description.
