I have purchased the Volume at Price Video and PDF set from The Private Banker I thought I would give a review.

The Video starts of with about 30 minutes of different charting platforms, how to set up your charts, various datafeed reviews, and complementary indicators. I like how he shows bad examples of charts, time frames that are too small. But overall this front 30% of the video or so is just not that helpful.

The next 15-20 minutes or so is dedicated to order types, and how the footprint bars are constructed as well as the DOM. Which is alright, as it was a quick review and then we got right into the meat and potatoes of this video. He goes through several examples of using the Volume at price tool (VaP) in a couple of scenarios for entry. Then covering the nuances and things to notice while using the VaP tool, which is really good. Also using the VaP to determine if your wrong/right on a trade. This is where the video really shines.

After that video there is a live market example. He then talks through the market action which really helps put things into perspective and crystallizes what you are learning. I was hoping there would be more live market examples. For example say we are thinking of taking an entry in some area and watch the VaP unfold real time to determine if we pull the trigger or not. As opposed to the static only examples. Also live examples if we were right or wrong on a trade as it was evolving. 1 example of each would have been very helpful.

The PDF, is an exact rehash of the video. Using the same examples and images in the video. I did not get any additional information. The pdf images aren't that clear but manageable. If you send him an email he will give you a code to get the images themselves. Which is fine. I think if you're not sure if you want to spend the $100 then you can pick up the PDF and get 75% of the information. See if you like it then pick up the vid itself.

On a side note, Ben's customer service is superb. He gets back to you very quickly. There is a small area to ask questions and he gets back to you there as well. Which is quite nice.

Overall this material is good stuff, there is a lot of details you don't get anywhere else. However the first third of the video really doesn't give you much information, but then gets really good once you hit the heart of things. I watched the video first, and the PDF didn't give me much extra info. If I had the PDF first maybe I would have felt differently. Live example was great but wish there was more, especially covering each topic that was in the video.

Bottomline: I am giving this 4/5

Thanks for taking time to review Ben's product. I would have liked to see more detail on the site of what is included, and agree it seems to be 30% off-topic and not so useful to me. Video should be more focused on tool use itself with more live examples as you note, in my opinion.

As I use order flow for trade confirmation, but Jigsaw's DOM toolset and not the VaP footprint. I was wondering if watching the video would help better understand order flow but seems not so helpful for me. I know Ben said product is cheap (2 contracts) but still a lot of cash relatively speaking.

I totally agree that the website and the trailer does not really give much detail as to whats inside the product. It is a fairly expensive mystery box. If I knew the PDF and the Video were exactly the same thing at the start I would not have bought the PDF, a bit of buyers remorse on my end.

Is this the $75 and $25 product that's the expensive mystery box?

Seems pretty cheap for even a snippet of trading info - I'm rather tempted to buy the PDF myself based on the comments above!

I shall report back!

Yes, its not that its not worth the cash for the material because in the end there was good stuff in there. Its just the site description is really lacking. The trailer doesn't really explain the topics covered and there is no outline of the material anywhere really.

Great feedback guys! I appreciate it! I've made some adjustments on the site with this in mind.

Thanks again!
Ben

I know the threads not new but I have just seen it. Have been on the Private Banker website for a while now, I have not paid for the video but there is an absolute abundance of gold if you pay to become a member and all the educational material is discussed in depth. The comunity is focused and experienced within the field of AMT with lots of on going content and daily market profile analysis. Its a great resource next to Big Mikes website.

Well there have been some serious managerial changes to the website and company LePrivateBanker. Ben is no longer part of the company and no longer producing educational materials. If you purchased the Volume at Price or other educational materials distributed through Vimeo or Scribd before they had their new all in one website. Then you are out of luck if you want to check out those materials again.

I have been talking to Ryan who at first tried to convince me to buy the membership so i could access the materials and more. But since Ben was no longer involved I declined to do so. They said they would figure out a way for me and other previous customers to access the content we rightfully purchased. However after several emails and over a month of waiting I have nothing and am still waiting.

Ryan is polite. straight forward, and has great customer service manners. That's a plus, but at the end of the day. I paid for something I no longer have access to, and I do not want to pay more for a service who's main reputation and content provider is no longer available.
