Since they don't like excessive thanks on the support forum because it wastes time, I want to say to the SC development team:
THANK YOU!!
The thanks is particularly for the fast fixes you provide. Last night at 2am I posted on the SC forum about a bug (though I was not sure it was a bug), and by 11am this morning (on a SUNDAY) they had fixed it and created a new prerelease build. They are exceptional software engineers, as they keep the program relatively bug free, given all the stuff they are constantly upgrading and adding. And when there is a legitimate bug, they fix it fast, in this case, during the middle of Sunday night. Pretty amazing.
I and others have been singing your praises on futures.io (formerly BMT) and you have quite a few new users using SC, and it's very exciting to see.
more than anything i'm excited to see the quite uncommon behavior from SC Team regarding technical aspects and relationship to financial markets participants.
these guys really don't hunt for a profit with closed eyes
I also feel compelled to give another shout-out for an option that is now re-introduced (as of 961 anyway). I use auto-hide, and I hate scrollbars, and I hate menu bars, and I hate title bars, because they take up space that often goes unused. I have been disliking that the menu bar is required to show up even when auto-hide is enabled. Finally, we now have options for all 3: hide title bar, scroll bar, and menu bar. I have set up keyboard shortcuts and mapped them to two of my many mouse buttons to quickly hide/show the title bar and menu bar. Now, when I click a chart, it stays put, no more insertion of unwanted menu bar. If I want to get to the menu, I do a left-wheel and it's there. THANK YOU. Awesome.
Prior to 960 I was using a tool written by @ktrader that auto-hid everything. But in 960 (or so) they broke that. I emailed Anthony about it a couple days ago and he told me they would resolve it, so I am glad to see a new build that allows the hiding functionality to be restored and finally natively supported.
