Does anyone here know of any good Trade Journal/Journaling software that is available.
I have been looking for a good trading journal for a while now and I don't really want to pay a monthly fee.
I rather pay a larger up front fee than pay a billion monthly fees. That's just me. Don't know if that is better or worse.. but that's just me...
I have only found TWO in my search: TraderVue and Trading Journal Spreadsheets (from Gator Trading Company)
Trader Vue -- looks great... but he has a monthly fee.. again I don't like that.. I rather pay a one time fee and have everything in my computer...
Trading Journal Spreadsheets is good - it is Excell - I actually bought one of their spreadsheets A LONG time ago and it is good but it doesn't have alot of the features that TraderVue does. But it is one time fee also.
Which other ones do you guys know of? Can you guys give me a link to them...? I have heard of something called Trade Control that is a software that you buy .. but don't know where to find it .. or how it is.
Any ideas or clues would be greatly appreaciated.
Thanks!
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
Its not irrational -- is that I don't like to pay $29 every month and at the end of the year you look and you have paid $348 (29*12) for the software... and you don't even own it yet.
So why not just pay the $348 for it out right and actually own it... Is my thinking. I don't need the web hosting part of it or the 'security logging' of it being in the web.
That's why I prefer to be a pay outright kind of guy...
That spreadsheet is kind of nice You and VVHG did it all yourselves? Thats pretty good - I can barely make a table.... ;P
OK that's a different argument. If it is too expensive that is one thing, but I wouldn't let a payment model stop me from using something I want to use. If that payment model is too expensive, then yes it is a separate issue.
