I started a new spreadsheet for 2013 so I will post my positions for this year. I will attach my basic open/closed trades spreadsheet. This does not contain lots of detail but I'm happy to answer questions. I get most of my trades and advice from a local CBOT trader I know personally.
This week I opened positions in May cocoa, May oats, July soybeans, March Canadian dollar, March $10 Dow, and May feeder cattle. I have open positions short April gold and March silver.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I modified my spreadsheet for public consumption. I currently have open positions in silver, cocoa, oats, and Swiss franc. Open positions are highlighted in yellow. I closed a winner in gold and a loser in feeder cattle today. I had an S&P order go unfilled.
Nearly forgot about Big Mike's! This is my updated trade record for the year to date. I've been doing quite well but in a low drawdown this month. I work with a trader who's being VERY cautious right now. If he doesn't see the risk profile he wants, he doesn't get an entry signal. I'm hangin' in. Gotta take your losses.
