Using Mirus/Dorman- has anyone overcome the issue of their overnight positions getting 'reset' from NT7's perspective? I'm a hedge trader so keeping manual track of my positions is a pain in the neck. Example: Long 1 ES at 1500 with a 2 point profit at 4:15 EST, then when the market 'reopens', the NT dom and control center reflect the 'new' profit or loss.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I believe this is a refection of the price being Market to Market based on settlement.
You should trade off the equity run numbers if you keep positions overnight.
Matt

Thanks Matt. I understand the equity run, but not being able to see both sides of your trade in a true matched fashion is a real pain for a hedge trader. You're a broker- can't the broker simply report the data back to ninja at their original levels rather than m2m?
You are most welcome. This is not a reflection or at the control of the broker, rather of the feed that you are using and different feeds report it quite differently. The feed of Rithmic/Zen is also used by prop shops, small hedge funds, etc and this is how they want their systems to be reported for the most part to the best of my understanding.

Interesting, OK. I really appreciate your feedback. I'm using zenfire currently. To your knowledge, are there any other feeds that work with ninja who do not mark to market?
