Hello fellow traders, i'm a beginner trader and i started a demo account with thinkorswim. I have read a few technical analysis books in regards to stock trading. However, when i started playing with the demo account, i felt overwhelmed by the hefty number of stocks on the market. I just don't know which one to focus on.
I have read somewhere that all traders are using some form of stock scanner to help them filter out stocks that met certain criteria. So here are my questions..
1) Other than using stock scanner are there any other options? (I realized most of them cost some $$ )
2) If there is no other way, which stock scanner should i use?
3) Is this form of trading recommended? (Using stock scanner to filter out stocks and then trade irregardless to the fundamental of the company)
Thanks for reading my elementary questions.
