I have been working with the TTM_squeeze indicator on TOS this week and it looks very promising. If you are not familiar with it, the idea is to open a position when the red dot changes to a green dot. It can be used in any time frame, so it would be really cool to be able to use the scan tool to be able to search for setups. The issue is that the code is not available to look at on TOS because it appears to be copyrighted. I wouldn't think that would preclude using it in a scan, but I can't figure out how to do it myself. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated!
The TTM_Squeeze is basically a different visualization for when the bollinger bands enter the keltner channel (Red dots in the squeeze) and when the bollinger bands exit that is the squeeze firing. Try a custom scan for when the two are crossing (entering or exiting the squeeze).
There are more than one version of the Sqeeze indicator for NinjaTrader on this board that you can download. They are basically the same as TTM's. However, the one written by @Fat Tails (including the TTM version) is the correct one.
You can perhaps do the scanning in the NT Market Analyzer, it is intuitive, easy to setup, and there is no need for programming.
