Currently I have Ninja Trader with CQG as my data feed and AMP as my broker. I called the other day to set a limit on my losses for the day. They said that they don't do that. I know Infinity does that but AMP doesn't. I was wondering if anyone would know a way to code the Trading Dome from Ninjatrader to have an alert that goes off when you reach a certain amount that one would set for a daily loss limit. Any help would be appreciated.

1) If you have Ati enabled there is a file created at my documents ninjatrader named for e.x. "ES 03-13 Globex_Sim101_position".
if you have dde for your data you can read this file with excell and pass your data in the same spreadsheet. When the loss exceeds then you have excell to alert you.
2) You go on ninjatrader tools>>New Ninjascript >>strategy, and you you use the wizard to write a strategy that monitors your account and when the loss exceeds your tolerance it closes the position.
3) After you get in to a position you set the price alert on your ninjatrader platform to the price you want.

Hope these helped

Chriss
