Looks like TOS will continue being an integral tool going-forward for me. I've managed to learn some ThinkScript and apply it reasonably well.

I have long pondered becoming a Pro member at ThinkScripter. It's a one time charge, $99, and ones gets access to plenty of Pro indicators. Are any worth it though? I saw in another thread here on futures.io (formerly BMT) about the Turtle Trading System for TOS...

I appreciate any feedback you all might have. Thanks.

I am a Pro member. It is an excellent investment. I use three to 5 indicators including the Turtle System he has... It is well worth it for the indicators. I also like the forum, where you can find a lot of help on programming your own indicators for TOS.

The Turtle System has been very rewarding to me, I am using it by itself now swing trading off of daily charts. If you like TOS I consider it a must.

let me know if you have anymore questions.

a lot of knowledge there, think all of the indicators he has fit any trader. There's no holy grail though.

I am a Pro member there. They have some really talented programmer's that share a lot of great indicators, so it would be worth it if they have an indicator that you are looking for, but if you are still trying to "find your way" then you might want to start at BigMike's and when you figure things out purchase the Pro membership if need be.

All, thanks for the feedback, constructive too. Much appreciated.

I had read the "Way of the Turtle" some time back, and now have it on my iPad. Maybe time for a re-read. I also have one by Covel, "The Complete Turtle Trader" that I never read... I recall being quite intrigued in the approach, but never did anything with it...

Having gone through the available indicators, the Turtle one would be seemingly be the only or main one of interest. The others that would most interest me are now native...

Merry Christmas. Thanks again.

Hi All,

I am a Thinkscripter Pro Member, I do agree with all the reply. Being a Pro Member is great as a learning tool. I use it to learn how to create my own strategies and use the turtle system on my trading.

Thanks and Merry Xmas,

Boyax

Agree with prior posts. The Pro option is very nice and well worth every penny.

I became a pro member there almost a year ago. If your serious about trading and use TOS as your platform of choice its a must have. I use just a couple of his indicators but the main benefit I got out of it is all the custom code. When I can't figure out how to code something I can so look through his many many indicators and see how he did it for something else and then adapt it to my own indicator. Well worth the dollars spent.

I became a LT member of the TScripter band about 2 years ago and have basically learned everything I know about Thinkscript from the guys on this site. I have all my Long Term Portfolio Monitoring on TOS as well as Short Term Options. I Couldn't manage without them. I am trying to become proficient in EL and TS to be able to port in both directions. This site is helping that effort enormously.
