hi guys...after numerous attempts & BSOD trying to get the laptop with multiple monitors ...i think the easier router is getting a desktop with 2 graphics cards.
Any help on how the setup should look will be helpful & appreciated. I need tradestation working on 4 monitors due to the processing i do for volume data. What kind of PC configuration should i go for. I have been working with an W520 Lenovo i7 with 4GB....but cannot afford to keep switching screens between multiple tradestation desktops....need to be different for 2013
ANy suggestions on desktop types?... probably need 16/32GB RAM......what Kind of CPU?...etc....any cheapest/best solution works will also help aslong as i can have 4 monitors & decent CPU
thnx
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I bought a laptop from these guys and am happy with it. They have desktops too and I would get one from them when I need one.
I think the pricing is better than many of the well known online stores such as tradingcomputers.com. I think prices tend to be inflated at the well know stores as if for trading it needs to be expensive. Just some feedback. Good luck. https://eztradingcomputers.net/all-trading-computers/

Hi David...r they in the bay area too.?... My preference was the laptop....but had numerous issues connecting 3/4 monitors. Would love to check them out. R u using multiple monitors with the laptop.
Does multiple monitors really help? I have thought about changing to a multi-monitor set up for some time just can't think of how to justify it to my wife.
it will. Well am more of volume based....but there are couple of things i like to check and doing Alt+Tab rather than focus on price & execution is not what i would like . Its more for real estate than anything else...lol..especially since the laptop i currently use is 15".
One necessary doesn't need a computer with multiple graphic cards. The cheapest way would be to use a USB graphics card, and you can still hook up multiple monitors to one computer, that has only one internal graphics card. They work for laptops two, and I believe you can find them under $100.00.
Doesn't the W520 support multiple displays with a dock? Have you contact Lenovo support? Have you made sure your using the latest BIOS for your machine? Have you verified that you're running the latest or correct graphics driver for what you are trying to achieve?
If the W520 supports multiple displays, I would think you would want to achieve that no?
