Ninjatrader candles wont update

I have been searching around but can't seem to find the answer, so if this has already been answered I apologize. I am using NT 7 with CQG. I am using 5 minute charts, but for some reason the chart will get hung up on one candle. It might stay on the same candle for 15 or 20 minutes until I refresh it. When it gets hung up I switch to a different instrument, and then back to ES and it updates all the bars. I am currently only sim trading, so I am not sure if this has an impact on it or not. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to solve it?

I have seen this behaviour before and it sounds to me like some badly coded indicator or corrupt data. I would first try with (only) a fresh workspace and no custom indicators. If that doesn't help, you could maybe try to fix the databases...
