new to the forum and watched the intro new member videos but didn't notice how one can send an initial post to someone that isn't a response to a post ; also how do you attached/insert a screen shot into a post?

To right of each post is the Quote button, to reply to a particular post and quote someone.
Bottom left of each thread is Post Reply button, to post a general reply not quoting anyone.
Click the paperclip in the message editor to attach files, or scroll down some and click Manage Attachments under the Attach Files section displayed below the editor.
how do you address a post to a specific member - I want to send perryg a post and ask some questions that are in reference to his prior (closed) threads - trying to get all the indicator and chart settings for version one of his method that was in his first video of 8/11 - it seems like all the indicators have been updated for his current version two so I'm just a bit lost on how to get version one set-up
I have tried to message sharky and even you but when I try I get a message that the user is not listed - I'mnot sure what I am doing wrong - to send a message you first use the @ symbol and then the user name right?
