I came across Ting mobile wireless service provider recently and thought I would pass it along. I really don't use a phone much and hope Sprint coverage in my area is reasonable enough.

Key Features:

You will soon be able to bring your own device with exceptions for iPhone and maybe a few others.
Good rates.
No contracts.
You only pay for what you use with no overage penalties.
Multiple devices.
No tethering restrictions or fees.
4G available in some areas.

They are a "Tucows" company. I can't stand AT&T and Verizons greed and arrogance so Sprint is my best alternative.

I guess I'll go ahead and ask...

If anyone wants to give away a Sprint Android phone (CDMA 1900) for the cost of USPS shipping I'd be happy to take it off your hands.
