HEY GUYS I'M FREE!

Just finished the last exam on my undergraduate program!

I'm looking for a new path to follow now and would love to read your opinions on this!

Im considering on taking a masters graduation, but i cant decide on which one, if any...

There are some regarding Money management and Financial markets, that are of some interest, but i would also like to consider other alternatives (especially regarding Trading, which ive learned a little bit on my undergraduation, but only theoretically...definitions and such).

Do you know any program that's related to this? Im thinking on studying abroad, so any masters or any other couse on other country (that im financially able to go to lol) would be ok!

  • What has been useful to you?
  • What courses did you take so far?
  • How did you learn about how the financial markets work more profoundly? (besides practice ,practice ,practice!)
  • What are your goals, and the steps youve taken to get closer to it?
  • What would you do?
  • What would you like to have done?
  • What would you like to NOT have done?
Im relatively young, so im looking for the respectfull toughts of those of you who know more about life (and the markets) than me, and those who have any experiences theyve learned from and found useful, that would like to share, not only with me, but with whoever more reads it and learns something from it.

I hope this thread benefits anyones who gets to read about other people's advices on this matter.

Please be kind to share your toughts, your advices and your blessings!

Safe trading,
FREDY (yours trully)

Congratulations Freddy !!
If you are finding interest in the financial markets go for it , I would strongly advise that you listen to your inner voice and follow anything that lights up some passion in yourself !
All the best !

I'm looking for a new path to follow now

I was in the same boat that you are in about a year ago now. I finished my undergraduate degree in finance, which is just a very broad study of the financial markets. I found out for trading what I learned has little if no value. I learned more about investing, not trading.

I have a passion for trading, ever since I started looking into the markets I could not stop. I can't see myself doing anything else. If I knew that this is what I would do now I would not get a degree in finance, I would instead get a degree in computer science and statistics. I think those two would've helped me a lot more, but of course are not needed. I also thought about getting a masters, but figured that it would not do me any good so I became a full time trader instead.

If you truly have a passion for trading and know that this is what is for you go for it. Just remember it is going to take a lot of hard work and a lot of time to learn and become consistently profitable. It took me about a year and a half to know nothing about trading to become consistently profitable. Some people will take less, some more.

My best advice is to do what you love and follow your heart.

Congratulations FredyMegaG! Keep in mind, no matter what you learn a practice is a way to understanding.

Fredy,

Congratulations

You might consider following : get info what is better of all to study to get the work in Cargill or GS (or similar companies), then, when you spent a few years working for them, you will not need any advices anymore about trading

Good luck.

Krgds,
Andrew
