Use the Number of Trades study, add an MA based on the Number of Trades study, then use two instances of the Color Bar Based On Alert Condition study to color the price bar and the number of trades bar.
Thanks.
I'm ok with coloring the price bar.
But how to color the Number of Trades bar study?
Tried settings for Color Bar study Based on Main Price Graph and Number of Trades.
Tried conditions like = ID5 >= 800 and = NT >= 800 (checkbox Reset Alert Condition on New Bar - enabled).
-Set the 'Based On' to the Number of Trades study.
-Set the Chart Region to the same as the Number of Trades study.
-Set the 'Output When Condition True' to 'Use Input Data'.
-Set the 'Input Data' to 'T'.
-Set the Draw Style to Bar, and the Width the same as the Number of Trades study.
-Put this in the Simple Alert Condition field:
=ID1.SG1>ID2.SG1
(This assumes the Number of Trades study is ID1, and the MA study is ID2. This same formula can also be used in the price bar Color Bar study.)
Also, this Color Bar study must be below the Number of Trades study in the Studies to Graph list.
