Anyone having problems with the Flatten button in TOS. It does not work. They have weekly updates. They told me they would fix it over a month ago. I asked them 2x more when it would get fixed and they just ignor my emails now--not real happy with support here.

Thank you for the email. Yes, our developers have this high on their priority list. I'm sorry they have not provided us with a firm ETA on a fix yet. There will be a release this weekend that is expected to fix some issues, but I am not sure whether this will be resolved in this patch. I apologize I cannot provide you with more specific info related to this.

I'm getting the run-around with this guy. I will try and get a hold of a tech manager too see why it is not working on my end. My guess is that it has to do with forex or maybe my platform...
I spoke with a manager on the phone. He said they have gotten other calls about this issue and they know it is a problem and are working on it. Since it has been over a month, I don't think it is a priority with them. We shall see.....
Interesting .... I had it work for me twice in the last two days, for a trade on the ES, after regular market hours and with a pending sell limit order up above both times. It canceled the sell limit order and sold my existing position also, just by hitting the flatten now button. Of course, I've had it ask for confirmation recently also ....
Thanks, I am trading forex. Maybe it is a forex issue? Or platform issue? I am on Win 7 64 bit....Java issue? All I know is that it does not work on my platform. Hopefull they will get it fixed. I need my "Oh Crap" button
Sorry about commenting on an old post but I get mixed results with "flatten/flatten now" and I need to get this right already.
I've struggled to exit trades using the active trader tab for a while now with the "flatten" button. It seems very easy to enter a trade long but when I click FLATTEN OR FLATTEN NOW I get mixed results.
The TOS tech told me that flatten button should not only close my entry position and sell it but also cancel both limit and stop orders too which it doesn't always do.
Man, I wish there were a real freaking software manual for TOS active trader. All they post is the basic definitions of everything.
I only trade stocks and ETFs and have the same exact issue. Today is July 6th, 2021.
I always enter long positions using an OCO bracket order. Pre-calculated Entry Stop and Take Proft all in one click. All I want is a single click exit for my entire position including the leftover stop-loss and limit orders***
When I click flatten, at times it closes out of my entry position, but other times I still have to quickly click sell market or else I'm still in the trade.
Other times I have to ALSO "cancel all" or "X" out of the limit and stop.
Any advice you fellows can provide would be epicly appreciated.
