It occurs to me that a fair percentage of indicators that have made it onto my NT7 roster belong someplace else. Can one of you brighter technology guys please tell me how to remove unwanted scripts from my NT7 roster as if they never existed?
Thanks DB
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
I knew how to do it ... I just think it's good practice to put answers in threads, so that later, others with the same questions will be able to use those answers.
Keep in mind though that's for source cs files. For removing compiled / assembly versions (mostly 3rd party addons), use the File > Utilities > Remove NinjaScript option.
In case that the assemblies cannot be removed that way there is an alternative:
Go to Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> bin -> Custom. Delete the assembly files (not the NinjaTrader assembly please). Now you need to remove the references to those assemblies in a second step. Open NinjaTrader, edit anyone of the indicators via Tools -> Edit NinjaScript -> Indicator. Then click the editor with the right mouse button, select "References" in the popup menu, and delete all references to the assemblies that you had deleted manually.
This is only an emergency procedure, in case that File -> Utilities -> Remove NinjaScript Assembly has already failed.
