Paul Krugman, noted Keynesian, has been challenged to a public debate by Robert Murphy of the free-market Austrian School of economics. Right now nearly $75,000 will go to charity if Krugman agrees.
I think he's misguided and wrong. There's no doubt he's probably a very intelligent guy, but he's incredibly biased and like anything that's removed from basic math or quantum mechanics, his field is subjective. He can basically look at data and statistics and draw very spurious arguments that fit his bias and what he wants to believe.
