could you recommend a platform/website/tool ... that would help me create a simple filter (an inside daily bar) and then scan all available stocks ... to spit out those meeting the filter criterion ?

I currently use Ninja for futures trading - but havent subscribed to any feeds & have not tried creating filters inside of it

also, are there websites that have built in stock lists ? or would I have to purchase a data feed ? I have been talking to fidelity, but they cannot provide either of these capabilities

much thanks
Sunny

I used to use this website for some filtering FreeStockCharts.com - Web's Best Streaming Realtime Stock Charts - Free , its not the most advanced but At least it's free

You can also build a little indicator with NinjaTrader and then call that indicator from the market analyzer. If you want to screen for stocks you can connect NinjaTrader to Yahoo and let it scan for 300 stocks.

You do not have to pay anything but will get what you need. It might take some time to load all that data from Yahoo.

If you pay for a professional market scanner service, you will get the same result a little bit faster.
