could you recommend a platform/website/tool ... that would help me create a simple filter (an inside daily bar) and then scan all available stocks ... to spit out those meeting the filter criterion ?
I currently use Ninja for futures trading - but havent subscribed to any feeds & have not tried creating filters inside of it
also, are there websites that have built in stock lists ? or would I have to purchase a data feed ? I have been talking to fidelity, but they cannot provide either of these capabilities

For months I've been wanting to get back to swinging stocks on the side. So now I am getting serious about it again, and have funded an MB Trading equities account just for this purpose. Still sticking with futures as my primary goal, but swinging …
You can also build a little indicator with NinjaTrader and then call that indicator from the market analyzer. If you want to screen for stocks you can connect NinjaTrader to Yahoo and let it scan for 300 stocks.
You do not have to pay anything but will get what you need. It might take some time to load all that data from Yahoo.
If you pay for a professional market scanner service, you will get the same result a little bit faster.
