I joined forum after searching infos on FT71. I traded Forex for 2 years with modest profitable results (Thanks God.Never blow up the account. I am switching and learning to day trade futures to fire my boss some day. I wanna follow FT71 method but still unsure whether I should just subscribe to IRT straight away while i m still learning and demo trade his method (my concern is the high cost of IRT n data while i m still learning and havent made any profit yet). Can anyone tell me whether I can use Ninjatrader with Gomi MP indicator to replicate FT71 works to learn the method and save the cost first?
Hope to have your opinions. Thanks alot

@justtradeit84. That sounds like a wise idea. I am an avid Gomi user and used market delta on trial awhile ago and never felt the need to go back. If you buy a lifetime ninja license you quickly recover the costs you would have spent on IRT and market delta software. Also check out this thread for enhancements to Gomi's indicator.

Cheers
DJ

Hi DJ,
Thanks for your reply. I tried the Ninjatrader with GomMP and ALTO MP indicator. The GOM nad ALTO MP indicator are great but I just can't stand the situation where I open up the charts and data is missing then I have to keep record the data all the time. I don't have much time during the day learning how to trade so I was having a hard time wiht Ninjatrader esp with the Volume profile stuff.
Finally , I decided to try IRT. I am still in the trial period with IRT and I really like the way IRT handles data and Volume profiles chart. Everytime I fire IRT and my chart, I have all the information in front of my eyes. It really saves me a lot of time. Of course, it costs more but I feel that it is worthwhile because I think that If I wanna become professional in this trading game, I really need to professional and quality tools.

Yes you have a good point there. I must confess the recording issue can be a real pain. The problem for me is disconnections for one reason for another which means you have to really have another machine to record the data you miss which is what I do. I really hope Ninja sorts this out.

Best of luck with IRT

Cheers
DJ
