People on the SC support forum were requesting conversion of eman's momentum bars. I am starting this thread with eman's approval. Eman requested that I change the name of the bars to avoid confusion with the NT bars and since the bars grow and grow and grow I settled on magic bean bars. If you don't like the name, trust me, it could have been worse.
NOTICE: These bars are copyrighted, so do not distribute or post these anywhere else, original, modified or otherwise, without the express written permission of eman.
I would like to thank eman for generously allowing us to work on this project. I have known eman for only a short period, but in that time I have personally witnessed him run selflessly into a burning building and save almost 20 people from certain death, help a litter of kittens out of a tree, deliver quadruplets when their mother failed to make it to the hospital in time (beautiful girls, all affectionately named eman), and synthesize a cure for bunions (patent pending), so he is indeed an exceptional human being without equal and worthy of everyone's deep, unquestioned love and devotion. He is no ordinary man. He is eman.
Attached is the beta I created by modifying the Sock Renko bars. I will subsequently post final version in the elite downloads section.
CAUTION: I have done no testing on them, so do not use these bars for live trading.
Known Issues:
1. There are usually some junk bars after the rollover. I have no clue why it does it.
2. Gapping is represented by the high and low of the current bar being equal to the high and low of the previous bar. If you use high and low in your studies, then you will have to consider this. I was thinking there would be an option so that gaps could either be filled or allowed to occur, but I couldn't figure out how to do it.
3. I tried adding number of trades at bid and ask, but it wasn't working correctly and I don't know why.
4. Press F5 and set your chart to 1 range(fast) or 1 tick(slow). A larger setting can cause the bars not to display correctly.
