I set the initial defaults as treshold: 0.35 and period: 14 as these were the settings that worked for me the best. At the moment I still keep treshold at 0.35 but I increased the period to 15.
You need to find what works for you and keep in mind there is no ideal setting: if you keep treshold too low you will have lots of false breakout signals, too high means you may miss a good move.

I didn't encounter anything similar. Can you reproduce it with any of the amended sample strategies provided with NT? If you could attach simple strategy to the post and exact steps to reproduce that could help.

Once the historical coppy zone is removed after any change on to the strategy, all new bars starts to plot correctly.
