Hi All,

Has anyone traded in China or know anything regarding the regulations around trading in China. My reason for asking is that there is a possibility that my wife will get a work contract in China for a few years. That would mean we would be living there but not as citizens.

Would I be able to trade full time (for myself at home, not for a prop firm)? This may sound like a stupid question but I have no idea how things work in China since they apparently have some very tight regulations around things. Especially since I wouldn't be a Chinese citizen, I would just be there for a few years while my wife works a 'regular job'.

What im wondering is around things like work permits etc.

Many thanks.

You can trade anywhere in the world for all electronically traded instruments, provided you have access to internet. China is no different.

IF you have an account of Interactive Broker, you can trade most of the stocks in China, and now we have Crude Oil future contract.
However, I do not suggest your trading the Chinese market, for it's not a free market.
