Does anyone Trading from early AM 4am to 7am cst

I have trouble finding time during US mkt open and couldnt wake up for London open at 2am cst either, but I am early guy so waking up 4am-5am cst is not problem.

so have been trying this. It is slower than mkt open but still 6E, CL, GC gives good opportunities. ES/TF quite slow at this time, so wont be good

Just keep in mind that they eat lunch in Europe too

Also that some markets overlap for a spell

I think you will find that there is quite a few of us that do, as we are not all living in the USA and therefore we don't necessarily have the luxury of trading the US RTH.

I trade from 3am US ET to about 5.30am US ET. Some days are better than others in terms of amount of activity.

Best regards from Germany , most of the time in the year 6 hours "ahead" vs NYSE and 1 hour vs UK

We (DAX) "eat lunch" at 12PM local until 1PM . We usually (!) provide some patterns ( and I do NOT RECOMMEND trade anything at all , much much too dangerous that is !) at 09:30 AM local until 11:30 AM . Open is at 9 AM . Before 9 AM is noise but I like to see how our day starts at starting 6 AM´ish till 7:15 ... this is when we stand up and have a look at closing AP . So do I . One can sometimes see some trends .

After lunch , your early morning, 1:30 PM local , we tend to look too much how you guys on the other side of the Atlantic might feel today and this is when the bars again start to have some noise . As of 02:30 PM Germany, do not trade DAX , it is a CC of you .

Summary : DAX-Family and European currency " 09:30 till 11:30 local best"

Hope helps a bit .

Lobo

PS.: I do trade in my evenings at US Exchange , also some AP FX pairs during night in a 2 and 4 hours TF . I not trade my Friday evening after 5 PM because the majority of the ladies and gentlemen at the US StockEX´s appear to have very important meetings and no time to trade

Tks LoboTrader

appreciate the detail. I do DAX's movement in London/DAX session, but the per tick value - think $25/tick kind of scared me so i think DAX is not for beginners.
thks anyway

Totally agree ... me the same I you are into the futures . I never trade future , hobby trader only , and little money involved at all times . There is CFD though which one could trade with much (!) less risk @ 1 EUR/1 Point with "Brokername" Interbankenaccount . MT4 . There is even less risk available if you select "AnotherBrokername" which is whitelable of "Brokername" but allows you 25 Cent/Point . Spreads are not (!) competitive for frequent trade/scalping as they not charge commissions but include in spread . When I used them, I had 1 K€ at the account and traded in 5 Min TF upwards , smallest TF is 1 Min .

But again , I trade little money there, it is "fun money" , no trade4living (not even close to that) .

I can send you both names via PN but wish not generate any conflict with any-country-in-the-world-legislation and as this forum is global :-) I do not post the names straight . But no personal interest involved at all .

It is fun if you like to train/sharpen/test your skills and mindset and Demo Account´s are as useless to you as they are for me .

All the best, sleep well and than enjoy your weekend :-)

Oh , when I had chance to visit my parents in El Paso, TX , way back in 1984 that was , I enjoyed Coors ( brewed with pure Rocky mountain spring waters .... that´s at least , what was written on the can ) , with Salt and Lime .

THAT was tasting great as well ...

Best regards

Lobo

PS.: And hope nobody will be upset with me, having mentioned the brand . But you (Admin) will understand that C. is culture no brand . Agreed ?
