How do you read this indicator for best results, expecially the ADX?

Hi Guys

I have a question with regards to the ADX (light blue line) on zero lag macds.

I have noticed that after a short while this line will stop moving up or down it tends to just go flat & behind the zero line.

I then refresh the chart by pushing F5 and it will then plot correctly. But then happen all over again

Do you know if theres a fix for this.

Thanks

Hi. I trade a 4range chart and was hoping someone could answer a question, maybe it is a little early and my brain is not working or well, who knows.

I have the indicator Macd Zero lag on my 4range chart however I want the setting of 24 52 18 from a 1minute chart to appear on my 4range as this keeps me on the right side of the tracks. I guess it is a 3min setting turbo charged up on a 1 min. I currently have a seperate chart open with just the Macd indicator on it and would like to eliminate that chart

thanks

Dan

You can do it but your range chart will not be usable as the bars will form clusters due to the 1 minute chart present on your range chart. This is a well known effect which makes the use of another data series as you intend to do impractical.
