I posted an indicator yesterday in the elite downloads called TicksPerTimeFrame, It was mentioned that it counted the ticks incorrectly. I have manually verified that the indicator is counting the ticks exactly as I intended. However, that doesn't mean I'm right. Could be that NT does something that I don't understand and unable to figure out. I'm very satisfied with what I see in the indicator and am therefore using it. However, please be aware of this for your own use and see if you notice anything that seems to be off. The thing I like about it is that COBC does not have to false in order to see the tickcount progress in real time. That's because this indicator is multitimeframe where the secondary timeframe is 1 tick. So, you see the current bar being built as if COBC were set to false which I believe that to be a nice feature.
The one thing that I don't like and have yet to fix is the moving average (the red line) is off by a bar. It is the average of the 10 bars prior to the current bar that is building but it displays as if it includes the current bar as well. It should end on the previous bar.
Also, I intend to have the histogram plot a different color bar when the tick count goes above the moving average. That will probably be in the next version.
wldman and I conceived the idea of counting the ticks a while back and I just now around to coding it.
Comments are welcome on how this indicator can be used as well as any bugs or discrepancies you find.
