Hello

Any chance of getting time/date for a bar in ISO8601 UTC format ?

Or if i have to build the string myself, any chance of getting UTC timeformat ?

All i seem to find is the "Time" function, that returns the time of bar, but it will be different if the chart is configured in LOCAL time or EXCHANGE time.

In NinjaTrader you can convert any Date Time object from local time to UTC via DateTime.ToUniversalTime().

https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.datetime.touniversaltime%28v=vs.90%29.aspx

I do not know how to do this with TradeStation.

I know, i have no problem doing that in NinjaTrader. But since we are busy trying to make a function for TS to work with NinjaMonitor, we are going deep in the abilities of TS ^^'

The best i could find was the ComputerDateTime function that returns the current machine datetime.
Comparing that to the datetime of the currentbar in realtime mode, i can determine if the chart is running in exchange timezone or local timezone.

But still no way of finding the time in UTC format. I think i'll have to do without and use local time

Sorry if you've been down this path but have you checked the DateTime Class? There are quite a few formatting options.

Classes in tradestation? That would be nice :-)
I've no issue with NinjaTrader to get utc, it's dead easy and obvious.

All I need is a way to get utc time in ts. I think I'll make an external dll

Yep, quite an improvement. 9.x is required. In fact, in the help menu on top there is a whole section devoted to object oriented
