Is possible within MC to have as a lower indicator (below the chart, like where RSI or stochastics reside), an indicator that is NOT derived from the charted instrument?
I have been able to do this in TOS, but after an online chat session with MC, I got the impression that it was not doable in MC. Well, I was told that it was not possible, assuming we understood each other...
As an example, I have a couple charts where I have mkt data as a lower indicator, and these will include two McClellan Oscillators, one for the NYSE and one for the NASDAQ. Another is the put / call ratio info for a mkt. Also, the number of mkt new highs / lows... Market data, not just from one symbol.
These are indicators that I find helpful for what I do; and would like to know if they are possible in MC. I realize of course I need the data to pull this off, which is how I was pursing this inquiry initially, but now I have reason to believe that even if I had all the necessary data, MC might not be able to depict what I desire.
Thanks, Tony
