The Trading Clan gives a free week trial about every 3 weeks, and trades primarily CL, they also trade TF, and GC. The one thing that I like is that there is no sales pressure and you can come to their free trials as often as you want.
I just wanted to pass this along.
Checked out there room on trial. I think they're traders first, educators second. They use a breakout strategy which can work some of the time... but it needs discretion to be profitable IMO. Trading pullbacks suits me more so didn't continue with them.
I've been with The Trading Clan for a few months, and since market conditions have changed a bit against their breakout methodology, they currently develop some new strategies on the breakout method to be more profitable again.
The room is ran by Ken and his son Brent and I must say that they are very honest guys, and there's absolutely no selling pressure in the room.
As Keithh already stated above, they really are a lot more traders than educators.
Current and historical results are shown on their website and I really can witness that all the trades in the room are called out well in advance.
They also offer a free trial week so you can make up your mind if membership is worth $199 / month or not.
I did take their free trial and here is my opinion.
1. They are Traders first then educators.
2. Honest no selling pressure and really understand day trading
3. Dont know if their method works however I suggest back test it yourself before reaching a final decision. They did show a positive equity curve. However there are drawdowns.
4. Day trading is tough and requires a stong mind ( specially if there are losses. ) They do preach that which is correct.
Maybe I will try out a month with them.
They plough on from day to day taking the trades their system indicates and that is real day trading.
No, I haven't been in their room again since my last post above, so I really can't tell anything new about them.
