Links don't seem to work in e-mail notifications of replies to threads

When I get an e-mail from a thread there is both a description of the reply and a link to the forum thread. The problem I am having is that the link doesn't take me to the response that I would like to post a reply to. Here's an example:

How do I find the specific response referred to in the e-mail?

It takes you to your last unread post. It is assumed you want to read the last unread post, and not skip posts you haven't read yet.

You need to look for a link that includes a reference to the post number. I no longer use the email update but it used to look like this:

Book Discussion: Reading Price Charts Bar by Bar by Al Brooks

Hi I have just finished reading this threat - sadly to say that its nearly dead :(

Today I have learned a lesson better to wait for an Second Entry - at least an H2 or an H4. I saw a lot of pics of it, that it shows the importance but I haven`t understud …

Note the #postXXXXX at the end of the URL when you hover over the link. FYI, it is the same URL shown in the 'permalink' at the top right of each post.

Unfortunately the e-mails (I checked the last 4) do not show the permalink when I hover over the link. It would be nice to have that ability because, as much as I would like to read all the posts I haven't read, I don't have the time (or interest) to do that if I don't want to. @gcaldridge, It looks like the "Instant" email notification does not include links to each post. Try subscribing using Daily or Weekly emails instead. Those are working for me.
