For those of you who are not familiar with the birds of North America, the male of this species would normally be a brilliant red.

Ok, I know that it is more of a bunch of photos with acoustic background... but I really love this time lapse video and the music (from the movie: The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford)

It's amazing and relaxing at the same time, I could watch it for hours...

That's cool. So is this. (Yes, it's real as far as I know.)

70 Billion Pixels Budapest - The largest photo on Earth - created by 360world.eu

70 billion pixels Budapest zoom in and see the people on the back patios of the buildings, crazy stuff

https://media.skysurvey.org/interactive360/index.html

"What you see above is the largest true-color photograph of the night sky ever created, shot by 28-year-old amateur astrophotographer Nick Risinger using six astronomical cameras. It’s not just the view of the sky from one location, but is instead a 360-panoramic view of the sky taken by trekking 60,000 miles across the western United States and South Africa starting in March 2010. The final image is composed of 37,000 separate photographs."
