I live in Bloomington Indiana and own a small business with about 11 full time employees. It is largely self sufficient with good employees and management and so I am "semi-retired". Most of my day and late evenings is spent in the markets. My goal is to become a professional trader. I've been trading since the start of the bull market in March 2009 and after earning $14,000 on a $25,000 account I lost about $9,000 of those winnings before realizing that I wasn't that smart after all. I stopped trading and and have been alternating between virtual trading and real trading now for the last 12 months. My account is now over $58,000 and I work very very hard every day to get to the point where I can be consistent and fully disciplined to trade professionally. I have a long way to go which is why I still classify myself as a beginner trader.

"I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
