This year the CME closes on Friday ( 12/23 ) so I would say you could trade up until Wednesday (12/21 )

I plan to stop trading on the previous Thursday (12 /15 ) and call it a year.

Math. A gateway drug to reality.

Is it best to skip the rest of this year's trading, rest of Dec? Things seem rather slow.

How about Jan? When do things pick up? 1st is Monday...so should it be the 2nd week or would 1st week be worth trading?

I was recently testing on ES 12-17 and the volume was real light, but I am now trading live with ES 03-18 and the volume is significantly higher.

I did observe that most of ES 12-17 was light overall though.

Contract rollover i guess, but i think its not that bad. The last 20 minutes today 7 points down and 7 points up.
