I got an email from MarketDelta last week. They have released a free Trader version of their product. It is basically just Footprint charts with a DOM. They ATM similar to NT. Unfortunately they don't support many brokers as of now, but that will likely improve in the near future.

Anyway, as I know many use Footprints/Gomi here, I just thought I'd mention it:

I have been using Marketdelta Trader for a few days and quite like its clean simplicity yet with simple footprint bars/ charts, which are neat. I am curious to find-out whether anybody is actually using this free s/w to trade for real? Any views/ comments on it, say compared to the pay-for Marketdelta Charts platform or others? Are people happy/ able to trade with this alone?

I am going to try the demo. I was leaning towards NinjaTrader7 for a while but the lack of historical bid/ask backfill is a problem for charting, I also like the MD footprint charts and the underlying i/rt framework looks awesome. How is their chart trader?
