I have these indicators for Meta Trader and was wondering if anyone could convert to Ninja 7? I looked at the code, and it appeared to be nothing too complex, but since I am not a coder I cannot say for sure. Pretty interesting when the indicators are put on the chart together. Put a 34 MA on the chart, wait for the swing to turn red/green, and the scalp to turn the same color and then pull back to the opposite color. Once it turns back to the correct color for the direction of the trade and you are on the right side of the MA you have an entry.
I thought we could get it converted to Ninja as an indicator first, then maybe a strategy for backtesting to see how robust the idea actually is. Hope someone can help.
Can you help answer these questions from other members on NexusFi?
That is decompiled code, which is obfuscated by using some unhandy variables. It can be translated to NinjaTrader, but it is definitely no fun to do that. Also the code relies on a multi-timeframe approach, which might make it necessary to access secondary bar series in NinjaTrader.
If its too difficult to do, I completely understand. It looks very promising though, and it would be nice to be able to back test. We might have a winner here. Thanks for your input on this.
Thanks for Looking at it. Anybody have a couple of hours to put into this? It might be profitable (or it may not be). But I guess we dont know unless we try.
I'll spend all the time need to test it if someone will convert it.
