Hello,
First time poster though I've perusing this site for a while. I am a very new trader who spent the summer learning from his father. Towards the end of the summer I got NT running on my computer and started SIM trading - no problems there. Over the weekend I moved back to college, and now when I try to boot into NT I get the following error:
"NinjaTrader is having problems connection to its' license servers. Possible problems are a) your firewall software is enabled and you have not authorized NinjaTrader to access the internet b) Your internet service provider is having service problems or both license servers are down. Please ensure that your firewall software is not blocking NinjaTrader and try again in a few minutes"
It should be noted that I am still running a free trial from AMP. I asked them to extend my trial and they gave me instructions to apply a new license key, but the same error pops up when I try to do so. My charts will load, (with old, unmoving data), but it fails to list CQG or Zen-Fire (the feeds I've been told by AMP to use) as connections I can choose.
Anyone have an answer for this?
Thank you so much, and I apologize for the very novice question.
Best,
Brady
