Hi,
can anyone assists me to rollover future contract?
I'm totally lost...

When I use 6EU1, there is in datamanager no option to rollover.
Have I use a totally new "custom future" ?
And when, which are the steps.
Thanks in advance

You have to add the new contract to the QuoteManager and then create a new Custom Futures contract (you can delete your old CF that you have been using so far). Then simply chart the new СА symbol.

To create a new СА symbol go to QuoteManager > Instrument > Add Custom Futures. Make sure you have all of the 'components' (i.e. individual futures contracts) in your QuoteManager so the program can assemble the CF symbol out of those individual ones.

Hi everybody ... new to Big Mike's forum. Have a question. I have been trading the ES for several years and have just started looking at the 6E contract. I live on the East Coast so been getting up at 2:30 a.m. EST for the european open (thats rough 2:30 a.m. need alot of coffee. I know about the rollover dates on the ES but I need to know when traders start trading the Dec 2011 6E contract. I went on the CME website and it says the rollover date for the December 2011 6E contract is Monday, September 12, 2011. I am currently looking at the volume of the 6E right now (9-13-2011 @ 1:55 p.m. EST) and the volume on the Sept contract is 375467 but the Dec contract is 94290. I know for the most part everyone is now trading the Dec 2011 ES contract, so again, when do all the traders start trading the Dec 2011 6E contract. Thanks for anybody's help.

I might be wrong, but i think most people on futures.io (formerly BMT) change to the next contract when volume shifts from the last one. Since the expiration for 6E Sept is the 19th i would guess that volume shifts tomorrow or thursday.
