I have an existing trade entry strategy to which I'd like to add GomCD values. I really need to access the DeltaClose, DeltaOpen, DeltaHigh, and DeltaLow in addition to DeltaValue. In the strategy, I'm wanting to look at cumulative delta Bid/Ask and cumulative delta UpDownTick and make comparisons between all of the available values listed above.
I'm having difficulty finding the correct syntax to access each of the variables. In an attempt to do so, I used the following in a Print statement to see its output on the Output Window:
GomCD(GomDeltaIndicator(true, GomCDCalculationModeType.BidAsk, GomFilterModeType.None, 1), GomCDChartType.CumulativeChart, true).DeltaValue[0])
The comparisons I'd like to make look something like this:
DeltaClose[0] > DeltaHigh[1]
DeltaClose[0] < DeltaLow[1]
...and I'd like to do it with GomCD(...BidAsk, CumulativeChart...) and GomCD(...UpDownTick, CumulativeChart...)
I'm actually wanting to use the Cumulative Delta and Cumulative UpDownTick as a filter for my existing pull-in strategy. It seems to enhance the accuracy of my existing entry technique (I've verified its usefulness looking at cold charts OR simulating while being very focused on 3 different signals).
I'm hoping to get this coded this weekend and simulate the results using Market Replay. Gomi has made an excellent indicator, and I'm hoping to one day use it in my trading. That Webinar from Fulcrum on Cumulative Delta got me started on this. I've been trying to find a way to use order flow for my entry, and I think this may be it.
Thanks,
TangoCharlie
